Privacy policy
Short, because there is not much to say. We do not have accounts, so we do not have you.

The one paragraph version
Valuely estimates what a game account is worth. Today that runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded. When screenshot reading ships, your image is held in memory, read once, and discarded. We never store screenshots, we never ask for a game login, and we do not collect anything that identifies you.
What happens to your screenshot
- Your browser downsizes the image before anything leaves the page.
- It is sent over an encrypted connection to our Cloudflare Worker, which holds it in memory. It is never written to disk and never put in a bucket.
- The Worker passes it to Google's Gemini API, on the paid tier, where inputs are not used to train models. The free tier does train on inputs, which is exactly why we do not use it.
- The model returns facts, not prices: skin names, champion count, level, rank, currency balances.
- The image is discarded. Only the extracted facts continue, and they are what builds your result.
We do not run OCR on your screenshot to find your name, and we do not keep a copy for quality review, model training, or a nice gallery of accounts.
What we collect
- Anonymous usage analytics through PostHog: page views, which game tiles get clicked, whether a valuation completed. No account names, no email, no cross-site advertising profile.
- Error reports through Sentry when something breaks: browser, page, stack trace.
- One anonymous device token, a signed random string in a cookie, used only to apply rate limits, currently 5 valuations a day. It is not an identity and it is not linked to anything else.
- A Cloudflare Turnstile token to keep automated abuse out. It is a bot check, not a behavioural profile.
- Standard request logs at the edge, which include an IP address for a short window because that is how rate limiting and abuse prevention work anywhere.
What we do not collect
No name, no email, no password, no game credentials, no Riot ID, no summoner name, no Epic or Steam identifier, no payment details, and no account with us of any kind. There is no login button on this site.
Who we share it with
Four companies, each doing one job.
| Sub-processor | What they get | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Page requests, IP at the edge, Turnstile tokens | Hosting, bot protection, rate limits |
| Google (Gemini API, paid tier) | Your screenshot, in memory, at request time | Reads the contents of the image. Paid tier, no training use |
| PostHog | Anonymous product events | Which pages and games get used |
| Sentry | Error traces | Fixing what breaks |
Swipe the table
Nobody else. No ad networks, no data brokers, no marketplace partners, no affiliate pixels.
Other people in your screenshots
Game screenshots pick up more than you meant: friends lists, party member names, chat, Riot IDs, sometimes a taskbar or a notification with a real name in it. That is other people's personal data and they did not agree to any of this.
So: crop or blur before uploading, we ignore regions outside the game window where we can, and we never render another player's name on a share card. Your own name is off the card by default too.
If you are under 18
Do not upload screenshots containing your real name, your email, or anyone else's. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect identifiers at all. That is the strongest protection we can offer and it is deliberate.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar laws you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. In practice we hold nothing tied to you, so there is nothing to hand over or delete. Screenshots are gone within seconds of processing, and the anonymous device token clears when you clear cookies.
If you still want to ask something, or you think a screenshot exposed someone else's data, email support@valuely.gg and we will answer. The rest of our position on trust and scams in this category is on is Valuely legit, and the rules for using the tool are in terms.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top and describe what changed. If a change ever means we start storing screenshots, it will be stated in the first paragraph and not buried here.
